I couldn't help but pass along these fun ideas to you! Gotta love PINTEREST!!! Click on the links for step-by-step instructions.
{1} CARDBOARD BOX CAVE
Save a large box (possibly from a gift received this Christmas), poke holes in the cardboard, and place Christmas lights through the holes. So fun!

{2} DROP BOX
Cut squares or circles (in different sizes and shapes) out of a box. Provide your little ones with different items to "drop" into the holes (rocks, Legos, pipe cleaners, blocks, etc).

{3} CREATIVE GIFT WRAP
Cute ideas for how to wrap gifts to keep kids entertained...especially if they have to wait to open gifts on Christmas morning or at a birthday party.

{4} SALT DOUGH ORNAMENTS
I love this Santa idea. Other ideas could include a reindeer and a turkey (for Thanksgiving). The possibilities are endless. Don't forget to write the date and/or child's name and age on the back to reminisce at a later time.

Love the box idea. We have a TON of boxes from moving and the kids have been asking for colored lights, I bet they would love this!
